"A Person's A Person No Matter How Small"
April 17, 2020 6:30 p.m.
Held at Sault Wesleyan Church
3556 Seymour Rd., Sault Ste. Marie
"A Person's A Person, No Matter How Small" - this quote from Dr. Suess' Horton Hears a Who is the whimsical and fun theme for our Spring Banquet Fundraising dinner this year.
Guest Speaker: Kathy Sparks
"Called out of darkness and into His marvelous light" may best describe the testimony of Kathy Sparkes who, having once worked as a medical assistant in an abortion clinic is now serving the Lord Jesus Christ as the Executive Director of the Mosaic Pregnancy & Health Centers in Illinois.
Kathy's testimony of the supernatural intervention of God in her life brings to reality the Holy Scripture, which declares..."and we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. " (Romans 8:28)
Invite family and friends to discover the work Care Net does in the EUP by joining you at this dinner and in supporting Care Net financially. Please RSVP by April 6th via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 906-635-1103.

We hope you can join us October 17 at the New Horizons Church on M-129 in Pickford for our annual Fall Auction & Dessert Benefit. The first auction item we wish to highlight is...
... a handcarved and burned walking stick. What makes this a fascinating piece are the animals and bird tracks burned into the beautiful wood. Thank you to Mr. Whitehouse for making this for us.

A busy summer means lots of opportunities to help out at Care Net: work days, garage sale, 4th of July parades and the Chippewa County Fair
We are gearing up for a very busy summer here in the Eastern U.P. We truly enjoy getting out and interacting with those living in this area. This is important to being visible in our community and helping young women and men realize we are available to help.
Our summer begins with our 4th Annual Garage Sale here at the center. We are looking for many helping hands to set up Thursday, June 27 at 5:00 and work Friday, June 28 or Saturday June 29 for a few hours between 9 am and 4 pm. Most items will be for sale by donation, but some of the larger/more costly items will labeled with a suggested minimum donation. Please let us know if you can donate some time to help. Garage Sale Volunteer Form
July 4th we are hoping to participate in parades in Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace. Downtown Days takes place in the Sault on August 2nd and August 3rd. Then we will be at Lakerpalooza on August 23rd. Finally, we will be staffing a booth at the Chippewa County Fair from Tuesday, August 27th through Monday, September 2nd. At each event, we hand out brochures and printed materials to give potential clients an overview of our services, our hours, and our ministry. We are also looking for ways to attract interest in our booths. Therefore, we are looking for donations to enable us to purchase gift cards or similar items that appeal to potential clients. We would hold a drawing for these items for those that complete a survey.
The costs for these summer activities usually runs around $3000. This includes printing brochures, reservations for booths, handouts, and candy for the July 4th parades. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to spread the word that Care Net is here to help families with unexpected pregnancies and parenting information?
We are also looking for volunteers willing to represent our ministry at these events. I am including an information sheet about our volunteer need for the Chippewa County Fair. We are planning to have our booth staffed for at least 74 hours during the week of the fair and we need help covering those hours! If your church or organization would like to take responsibility for a block of time, I would be glad to come "train" at your location. Thank you in advance for any way you can help. Please be sure to stop by any of our booths or activities and introduce yourself. I am excited to meet more of you, our faithful supporters.
God Bless You,
Noel K. Rupprecht
We need a little help making Care Net look good! Join us June 15 for a quick refresh of our facilities.

- priming and painting railings on front steps

If you have tools to use for any of these projects, feel free to bring them along. If you have nothing but willing hands, bring them too! Many hands make light work.
